"Mystery At Skull Cave" Original Painting

"Mystery At Skull Cave" was created in 2024 on a 24" x 36" stretched canvas using acrylic paint. This piece, inspired by my recent art therapy group's focus on childhood nostalgia and the joy found in adventure stories, depicts a woman rowing towards a mysterious cave shaped like a giant, looming skull. It echoes my lifelong love for tales of hidden treasure, cursed relics, and forgotten places, much like those found in The Mummy, Romancing The Stone, Indiana Jones, Adele Blanc-Sec, and even National Treasure.
