"Surrounding" Original Painting

"Surrounding" was created in 2023 on an 11" x 17" canvas panel using acrylic paint. This piece features a mysterious woman wearing a gas mask, created early in my art therapy journey. It serves as a visual exploration of my own toxic behaviors and how they can be exacerbated by certain environments I choose to inhabit, with the gas symbolically surrounding her.
