"Troublemaker" was painted in August 2025 on stretched canvas. I've always been drawn to painting dark and mysterious work, but this piece arrived on the easel purely for joy and chaos. I started working on this little pup a few weeks ago, finding so much enjoyment in painting a powerful vibe on a tiny creature. It's a fun departure from the more emotionally charged work and, I'm happy to say, it has kicked off an ongoing series of dog paintings I'll be releasing. The goal for this piece was simply to have fun and allow myself to explore a new subject. I hope it brings a bit of that same unexpected joy to its new home!
