"The Eleventh Hour" was created in 2024 on a 17" x 11" canvas panel using acrylic paint. This piece depicts a woman in a train station with a worried expression, large clocks looming on the wall behind her. While painting this, I reflected on my own anxiety-inducing behavior of waiting until the last minute to complete important tasks and the needless stress I often bring upon myself. I wish I could say creating this concept helped cure me... it did not.
