"Ideation," painted with acrylics on an 11"x17" canvas panel and completed in 2023, is one of my favorite skull pieces because it attempts to visually capture that incredible rush of creative thought. For me, it represents the constant, burning creativity within my brain. Since my ADHD diagnosis in 2020, I've come to understand that individuals with ADHD often exhibit enhanced creative ideation, particularly in divergent thinking—the ability to generate a wide range of ideas from a single starting point. This piece is a celebration of that internal spark, a reflection of the vibrant, sometimes overwhelming, flow of ideas that fuels my art.
