"Crossing Over" Original Painting

"Crossing Over" was created in 2024 on an 11" x 17" canvas panel using acrylic paint. Loosely inspired by Detroit's Ambassador Bridge, I envisioned this piece as a threshold, a moment of transition between realms. The original features UV-reactive paints, allowing the painting to transform from its everyday appearance into something haunting and ethereal under black light. I often find my art depicting beings caught between two worlds, and I believe this piece visually captures that liminal space with remarkable clarity.
