"A Study in Captivity" Original Painting

"A Study in Captivity" was created in 2024 on an 11" x 17" canvas panel using acrylic paint. This piece was the second in my exploration of UV-reactive paints. It depicts a butterfly on display in a cloche dome, and it comes to life with an eerie glow under black light. While I love creating black light pieces, the biggest setback is that I can't bring the glowing transformation to life in prints.
