"Left At The End" — 24" x 36" Stretched Canvas Print

"Left At The End" was painted in 2026, following major surgery on my right shoulder. Out of necessity and a desire to keep moving, I completed this piece entirely using my non-dominant left hand.

The initial wave of momentum carried me through the first 75% of the canvas in a matter of days. Then, the remaining 25% sat completely untouched on my easel for four months. While the physical limitations of learning to paint with my left hand were expected, the real hurdle was mental. The sudden, drastic shift in what my body could do created a thick emotional fog that took months to wade through.

Pushing through to finish this piece ultimately unlocked something entirely new in my creative process. Adapting to my left hand stopped being a temporary workaround and became a permanent addition to my toolkit. With my right arm still in recovery and another surgery on my wrist ahead, "Left At The End" stands as physical proof that we can always adapt, rebuild skills, and keep creating through the shift.

SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT

Because each canvas is stretched and assembled by hand to order in the studio, please allow 7–14 business days for stretching, varnishing, embellishment (if selected), framing, and secure packaging before dispatch. You will receive tracking as soon as it leaves the studio.
