Chrysalism
"Chrysalism" was created in 2023 on a 17" x 11" canvas panel using acrylic and Prismacolor® Pencil. Another piece inspired by "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows," I painted the base layer of this piece during an intense thunderstorm in the summer of 2023, capturing the raw energy of the moment, and finished it with Prismacolor® pencils the following day.
