"Willful Ignorance" (2024) Acrylic on Canvas

This painting is part of my recurring subject of women and skeletons with books. It explores not only the concept of escaping from reality but also the deliberate act of refusing to accept it. I created this piece to capture that feeling we’ve all had—that moment we choose not to see the truth, even when it's right in front of us. It's a visual exploration of what happens when we refuse to turn the page.

All prints are 8” x 10” with a white border for easy matting and shipping. They are packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backer board to ensure safe arrival. Please note that 8x10 prints are not signed. Printed on archival gloss paper.
